Just a stroll from Orewa Beach, this award-winning neighbourhood provides a lifestyle that is hard to beat.

Marion Ellis moved into Kensington Park four-and-a-half years ago and loved her terraced double-level home in this friendly resort village. Her easy beach life includes connecting with friends, playing petanque and coaching hockey umpires.

Location

Kensington Park’s quiet, friendly community is a short stroll from Orewa Beach and the village cafes and boutique shops. It is a place to relax, unwind and enjoy life to the fullest. For more information about Kensington Park apartment development Orewa, click here.

The award-winning development comprises multi-level apartment buildings, town and terrace houses, and stand-alone homes. It straddles three geological settings with soft beach sands, organic alluvial deposits and steep slopes with recent profound seated instability. Dodd Civil was engaged in the early stages of this comprehensive development to provide design input for a wide range of earthworks projects, including roads, stormwater ponds and retaining structures.

Residents of Kensington Park benefit from resort-like amenities such as an onsite garden café, heated indoor pool, gym and sauna. They can also explore the nearby scenic reserves, play golf, or take in the views from their terraced apartments and townhouses.

With a freehold title, all the apartments and terraced houses are open to people of all ages and stages, and the community is pet-friendly. Residents can easily access the highway but escape from it to enjoy the local beaches and scenic bush walks.

Marion Ellis moved to Kensington Park four-and-a-half years ago after her children left home, and she says the neighbourhood is perfect for empty nesters like herself. She and her dog Fin live in a modern, warm, sun-soaked double-level terraced house. They love the beach lifestyle and being close to Orewa’s beautiful sands, shopping village and a collection of local bush walks.

Almost all the residences at Kensington Park feature timber decking, which adds to the relaxed beach feel of the development. The developer chose Abodo Sand Decking for its high-quality supply and ease of installation. The decking is low toxicity and comes from sustainable plantation forests. The product is sourced from the Nelson region and has been an excellent choice for Kensington Park’s discerning clientele. Haydn and Rollett worked closely with the developer and architects on this project over three years. We led the private plan change consenting process and project managed the development design phase for over 120 quality apartments, units and homes.

Located in the beautiful seaside town of Orewa on the Hibiscus Coast of North Auckland, Kensington Park is an exclusive gated residential development with apartments, terrace houses and stand-alone homes. Marion Ellis loves her new lifestyle in Kensington Park. She’s an empty nester who moved from Takapuna to Orewa four-and-a-half years ago. Her terraced, double-level home in this friendly coastal neighbourhood suits her lifestyle needs and wants ideally. A short stroll takes her to Orewa’s beautiful sands, the shopping village, and scenic bush walks. When she’s not enjoying time with family and friends or coaching hockey umpires, Marion can often be found with her dog Fin wandering the beach.

An extra freezer can help families buy in bulk and cook larger meals to enjoy later. When selecting where and when to place it, consider its energy use; look for models with high Energy Rating ratings to save on monthly utility costs.

BJ’s Wholesale Club

BJ’s Wholesale Club was established in Westborough, Massachusetts, in 1922 as an operator of membership-only warehouse clubs. Their stores feature fresh foods, produce and full-service deli offerings alongside electronics, clothing, furniture, home essentials, toys and pet supplies, tire installation, optical services and photo development – not to mention over 180 locations nationwide!

BJ’s Wholesale Club boasts some of the lowest prices of any store nationwide, providing its members with substantial savings on name-brand goods and food, electronics, furniture, appliances and home essentials – plus, they accept manufacturer coupons! In addition to offering incredible prices, BJ’s also accepts manufacturer coupons.

BJ’s in Shore Parkway is my go-to shopping spot, as its spacious yet clean interior never makes it feel too cramped like Costco. Furthermore, BJ’s offers more products not available elsewhere (like smaller package sizes suitable for apartments), plus they carry organic foods and offer an incredible seafood selection!

One aspect I don’t care about this location is its staff. Their forklift drivers zoom around like they’re in a Fast and Furious movie, honking at you if they feel you are getting in their way or accidentally moving a box of fruits.

Freezers come in chest, upright and commercial styles; outdoor-rated models may be more vulnerable.

When purchasing a freezer, a variety of models are available to you that come equipped with or without an ice maker. Furthermore, frost-free freezers raise their temperature periodically (to around 32 degrees Fahrenheit) to dissolve any collected frost and ensure that food stays colder for longer.

Used freezers can save money and the environment by helping reduce landfill waste.
